Large events such as cat exhibitions, dog sporting events and tradeshows can be very nerve-racking for every owner. What happens if the beloved pet becomes ill or injured right before the big performence and the regular veterinarian is far away? In the mobile SmartVet animal ambulance, dogs, cats and Co. can be treated right away. With its state-of-the-art equipment, this clinic on wheels guarantees the optimal medical care right on site - from the treatment of small injuries to elaborate surgeries.

Our "Clinic on Wheels" is also equipped for emergencies.

It is equipped with a laboratory, an ultrasound machine and a height adjustable operating table. Using a special stretcher, badly injured animals can be carried to the operating table without being picked up. The clinic on wheels has the same high standards as our SmartVet practices and offers the additional service of a mobile unit that can used anywhere.

The mobile animal clinic is available to organizers of animal shows, tradeshows and competitions at no cost.

The ambulance was first used in 2006 at the national show for German shepherds in Bochum (22-24 September) and it was a complete success.

"Quite a few of the competing dogs suddenly suffered from stress-related illnesses such as diarrhea or cardiovascular problems, others injured themselves while warming-up.", explained Walter Hoffmann, head of the organzing commitee. "That is a nightmare for a concerned owner of course, as some have been training for the past year. But thanks to the veterinary care offered by the SmartVet Ambulance, the animals could treated right away. Except for one animal, all of the dogs could return to the competition and a number of them placed very well. And one has the assurance, the animals were given the best medical treatment."

In Berlin, where the animal ambulance is stationed, SmartVet uses it for privat house calls and help during emergencies.

The vehicle has already proven its worth on Mallorca where we used it for emergencies.

The television show "Hund Katze Maus" visited the island with its camaras and filmed the ambulance at work.
